Information about price and financial consent to procedures is important to us. Some assessment and treatments are clear cut, some may need discussion with your doctor due to size, location or type of skin procedure needed.
Our top to toe 20 minute skin examination and focused photography if needed is $157.00, with a $ $82.90 rebate from Medicare so is $68.10 out of pocket.
Skin biopsy of any suspected skin cancers has a price of $148.90, with a $ $50.60 Medicare rebate.
Some skin spots may then only require liquid nitrogen freezing or special skin creams.
If there are skin cancers that need complete removal and stitches, your doctor will discuss options with you and this includes financial consent to any planned procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions
We can certainly examine and make a plan for you. Some skin spots can just be frozen or shaved off to flatten, some need a true excision and removal. Let’s discuss.
If you have had a previous melanoma or other skin cancer
We have an underground car park, access from Bell Street if travelling west or via Plenty road, turn in between Keys Bowling and Donellans Tyres.
Skin checks and procedures are privately billed on the day, a Medicare rebate will flow back to you. We do not bulk bill these clinics.
Not currently. Our focus initially is skin cancer detection and treatment
We do not use whole body photography/Mole Mapping. We do use targeted photographs, encrypted and saved to your medical file to allow 3/6/12month follow ups if appropriate. There is no evidence for most people that this improves skin cancer detection. We will refer people to whole body photography clinics if important for your care
